Choose Your Route into Science
Start with a field, investigate a research question or understand how the six channels differ. Discovery is about finding an appropriate next step—not treating every source as equally reliable.
Scope & availability
The domain directory and research retrieval are available. Personalized Discovery Feed delivery is still in development.
Explore a field before narrowing the question
The domain directory organizes scientific and technical fields by discipline. Use it when you need vocabulary, context or a neighboring field to explore. A domain overview is a starting point, not a complete curriculum or an assessment of professional competence.
Search for a concept, then compare the related categories. Interdisciplinary questions often need more than one field; keep the original problem in view rather than following labels indefinitely.
Use research for evidence, not just headlines
Research and Development separates current source-backed records from a historical collection. Europe PMC supplies biomedical and life-science metadata; the collection does not represent comprehensive coverage of physics, finance or every other science.
Read the abstract, publication date, document type and source together. Follow the original record when you need methods, full text, corrections or licensing details.
Choose a channel by the activity
PYSTEP is for accessible creation and projects, LABS for reproducible experiments, FRONTIER for intelligence, research, knowledge, techniques and innovation, LIFE for health, food and all aspects of life and living, FINANCE for financial and digital-asset capabilities and KIDS for interactive learning and creative making. These are routes through one platform, not separate businesses.
A creator can frame a project in PYSTEP, investigate evidence in FRONTIER and define measurements in LABS. The separate Reality Workspace owns spatial building and runtime validation, once those services are connected.
Keep a useful trail
Record the question you started with, the source you used and the uncertainty left unresolved. A useful discovery ends with a better question or a concrete next action, not only another saved link.
Use a portfolio for your own work and cite others accurately. Check service notices before relying on a planned feed or learning program.
