Leadership & Governance
Scientific trust depends on clear responsibilities and honest disclosures. This page explains the governance questions that matter as SCIENCIBLE develops, without inventing a board or a leadership roster.
Scope & availability
A verified roster, formal appointments and approved governance documents are not published here. The framework below describes responsibilities to clarify, not a claim that named governing bodies already exist.
Strategy and platform responsibility
Leadership should connect the platform’s mission to practical decisions about scope, resources and release priorities. That includes distinguishing a current service from a development proposal and communicating limitations before members or partners rely on them.
Questions about who is responsible for a product area, a proposed agreement or a formal decision should be addressed directly to SCIENCIBLE. This page does not substitute a generic job title for an authorized representative.
Scientific and editorial judgment
Scientific content needs a traceable source, an accurate description of evidence and a clear separation between reporting, interpretation and opinion. Source metadata, peer review, editorial selection and independent replication are different things; none should be presented as interchangeable.
Editorial responsibility also includes correcting errors and explaining material changes. When requesting a correction, identify the page, the specific statement, the source that contradicts it and the practical consequence of leaving it unchanged.
Conflicts, decisions and accountability
Relevant financial, institutional or personal interests can affect a recommendation or collaboration. A sound decision process identifies those interests, separates promotional influence from scientific judgment and documents who has authority to decide.
Before relying on an institutional claim, ask for the applicable document, its scope and an accountable contact. No board size, advisor count, committee membership or institutional representation is inferred from a page description.
- Request the relevant scope and decision owner.
- Identify conflicts that could affect the proposed work.
- Agree how decisions and changes will be recorded.
Raising an issue responsibly
Use Contact for factual corrections, accessibility barriers, conduct concerns or questions about representation. Provide public links and a concise description, rather than sensitive records or unsupported allegations about individuals.
The general contact form is not an emergency channel or a confidential whistleblowing system. SCIENCIBLE should confirm an appropriate route before sensitive material is shared. No response deadline, investigation outcome or confidentiality guarantee is promised on this page.
