Useful sessions, reliable information
Events & Webinars
Find the right format for a science session, from a participatory webinar to a campus workshop. Events belong to Community; published recordings and editorial productions belong to Media.
Scope & availability
The event calendar and registration tools are in development. You can propose a session through the contact route below.
Coming soon. Confirmed events will include their organizer, date, time zone, access details and registration route.
Verify the event before committing
Check the organizer’s official information for date, time zone, location, format, eligibility and costs. Confirm whether a session is a talk, workshop, conference or hands-on activity.
A title or a promotional image is not a booking confirmation. Use the organizer’s confirmed route for registration and cancellation terms.
Choose a session that fits the outcome
A good session explains what participants should learn or produce and what prerequisites they need. Ask whether the format allows questions, practice or discussion.
For technical workshops, confirm required software, equipment and preparation before attending.
Consider accessibility and safety
Clarify captions, physical access, device requirements and alternatives for people who cannot use the main format. For recordings, explain who can access them and obtain consent where required.
Activities involving children, equipment or experiments need suitable supervision and risk planning.
Propose a session responsibly
Provide an audience, topic, learning objective, proposed format, organizers and resource needs. Dates and speakers should be labelled proposed until confirmed.
Use Contact to discuss feasibility. A submission does not reserve a venue, create a registration page or establish SCIENCIBLE as an organizer.
For a proposed webinar, prepare a session outline, audience prerequisites, time for questions and a plan for captions or a written alternative. Identify whether the speaker has agreed to participate and whether recording is permitted. Keep proposed arrangements distinct from confirmed dates in any public announcement.
