Curiosity with guidance
Middle-School Partnerships
Prepare a school-led science activity that is age-appropriate, accessible and connected to a clear learning objective.
Scope & availability
This is a proposal route, not a confirmed school program, curriculum accreditation or supervised delivery service.
Define the learning question
Choose a question learners can investigate through observation, explanation or a simple comparison. Identify prerequisite vocabulary and how the activity relates to classroom learning.
Start with a manageable outcome rather than a large collection of technology features.
Plan adult supervision and safety
Name the responsible school staff and consider materials, online access, photographs and participation permissions. Digital content does not replace a teacher’s judgment or a local risk assessment.
Avoid collecting children’s personal information in an initial proposal.
Build in accessibility
Describe reading level, language needs, device access and alternatives for students who cannot use a particular format. A model-based activity should have a meaningful explanation for learners unable to interact with the viewer.
Identify the materials and staff time the school can provide.
Submit a practical school brief
Include age range, learning outcome, format, supervision, resources, timing and the contribution requested from SCIENCIBLE. Use an authorized school contact.
Discuss feasibility before announcing a partnership or promising access to a developing feature.
For example, a supervised model-exploration lesson could ask students to name visible parts, describe how they relate and identify one question the model cannot answer. A drawing or printed explanation can offer an alternative. The teacher would retain responsibility for suitability, classroom management and checking whether the intended learning occurred.
