Organizations on SCIENCIBLE
Your organization. Your purpose.
Universities, schools, student organizations, research teams, companies, public agencies and independent groups all belong here. Choose the route that reflects who you represent—not a different identity for each activity.
Scope & availability
Personal accounts are available. Dedicated organization onboarding, institutional approval and chapter-leader administration are being developed. You can discuss your organization’s requirements through the inquiry route below.
An organization is not an official SCIENCIBLE chapter
A university, school, company, government agency or independent student organization should participate under its own name and governance. Using SCIENCIBLE must not turn that organization into a SCIENCIBLE branch or imply endorsement.
An official SCIENCIBLE chapter is different: it represents SCIENCIBLE in a campus or school community. Its designation, leaders and use of the SCIENCIBLE identity require authorization. Choose the chapter route only for that purpose.
One person can belong to several spaces
The account model being developed keeps personal identity separate from organization membership. A student can participate in a university project, an independent robotics society and an official SCIENCIBLE chapter without sharing passwords or creating three personal accounts.
Each space needs its own members, roles, projects and sharing rules. A person should be able to switch between authorized spaces, with the current organization always visible. Joining one must never grant access to another.
Institution and student organization remain distinct
An institutional space represents the university or school and needs an authorized institutional representative. A student organization represents its own members and elected officers. Being located at a university does not authorize students to act for the institution.
An optional host-institution relationship can describe where a group operates. It should not automatically merge memberships, expose private projects, appoint administrators or make the university responsible for the group’s statements. Several independent organizations and an official SCIENCIBLE chapter can coexist at the same institution.
Use a shared foundation, adapt the work
The planned shared foundation is membership, projects, resources and role-based access. Organizations can emphasize teaching, research, R&D, public-policy evidence or community activities without forcing everyone into a student or scientist template.
Guided instructions, plain-language labels and optional advanced controls should work across these activities. Accessibility needs and expertise are personal preferences, not assumptions made from age, affiliation or job title. School participation additionally requires supervised enrollment, adult oversight and appropriate permissions before student account administration is enabled.
Prepare the right request
For an institution, name the institution and the authority under which you are contacting SCIENCIBLE. For an independent organization, provide its own name, host institution if applicable, a responsible contact and intended activities. A company or public agency can describe the team and work it wants to support.
Do not send student rosters, identity documents, confidential research or private membership data through a general inquiry. Organization creation and review are separate from creating your personal account. Submitting a request does not create a tenant or appoint an administrator.
